How I Nerd – The Future

Warning: Special Announcement.

I have personally worked on the Howinerd Site/Channel over the past couple of years with a singular goal in mind. To get content on the How I Nerd channel 7 days a week. Over the last year, I have worked hard with a lot of rad people to get Tabletop Tavern up and running and used it as a proof of concept.

In my eye’s it has been a serious success.

With the new Year, we have added a second Show (Tales from the Tavern) to the line up with Neural Nexus: Zero & Tabletop Tavern Two coming hot on their heels. This is putting us pretty close in line with the goals I have had for this channel.

To that end, How I Nerd is officially becoming HowInerd Media LLC.

I will continue to run Tabletop Tavern, Neural Nexus: Zero & play in Tabletop Tavern Two as well as push some new initiatives that I think are rad. My driving goal is to provide and see that we as a team are providing the best possible content to the community.

Luna has played a key role in building this community and is going to keep assisting in that capacity (as well as any other thing she helps with me with, which is a lot) along with outreach & booking for Tales from the Tavern. As well as stabbing things in the Tabletop Tavern. Yeetabrix gonna yeet.

Decider12 Is joining the team as a Dungeon Master of the second Tabletop Tavern, and to keep track of all the financials. Find opportunities for saving money and making sure that everything is in line. Let’s hope he can finish this task for us.

Thank You

I’d like to send a shout out to everyone who has helped get us to where we are today. The community as a whole as well the cast and staff who help us daily. You have our sincerest thanks and we look forward to the continued support from you all as a whole.

We have some exciting new things coming down the pipe in the next couple of months:

  • DM tip videos for New DM’s.
  • Weekly 10-15 Minisodes of our TTRPG Games to hold people over during the week.
  • Talent interviews with people in the Nerd-a-sphere.
  • Pop nerd culture articles on the website.

To that end we are looking to add some people to the team.

Check out this article HERE and see if you have any interest in assisting us in this evil empire.

I would like the world to remember me as the guy who really enjoyed playing games and sharing his knowledge and his fun pastimes with everybody else. – Gary Gygax

because nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff. Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. Heck, when people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘you like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness’.” -John Green
